What is PUF?
Program Unit Funding (PUF) is provided to approved Early Childhood Services (ECS) operators for children with severe disabilities/delays who require additional support beyond that offered in a regular ECS program. Funding is provided for individualized programming that meets the educational needs of children with severe disabilities/delays. PUF is available for a maximum of two years for each child who is at least 2 years, 8 months of age on September 1 and 4 years, 8 months of age on September 1, and is only available in preschool.
